Jakarta Komodos Release Video Documenting Local Kids First Trips Abroad to Rugby Tournament

The Jakarta Komodos Rugby Football Club has released a viral-style video documenting the journeys of five young Indonesian rugby players who were sponsored on their first ever trips abroad to take part in an international rugby tournament in Singapore.

The Komodos were privileged to have been able to sponsor the boys from Kranggan Village to participate in the Centaurs International Mini & Youth Rugby Tournament in Singapore in early December. The Kranggan Geckos, as they are affectionately known, were provided with their first ever passports, flights and upmarket accommodation thanks to the generosity of club sponsors and individual members or supporters.

The Club would like to extend its thanks to Rini and David Hewitt, their production house Kemistry and all the staff involved in making this video possible.

We hope you enjoy it. The boys certainly did.
